Jeanette M. Bergeland

Bergeland, Jeanette M. age 76, of Burnsville, won her battle with cancer peacefully at home on April 16th. She was a very loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Jeanette is survived by her husband, James Bergeland; daughters, Susan Wahid and Kari (Joel) Deering; sons, Thomas (Denise), Bill (Anna), Chuck (Sheri) and Brad (Melanie). She will be greatly missed by her 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandsons. She is also survived by her brother, Vern Nyberg; and sisters, Dorothy (Norm) Vetsch, Annie Westlund and June Kissell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and E. Ingeborg Nyberg. Jeanette was enjoying retirement after a twenty-one year career in Human Resources for the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Schools. Service 1:00 PM Friday, St. James Lutheran Church, 3650 Williams Drive, Burnsville. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Interment Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Memorials preferred.
