Jeanette Catherine Fox

Jeanette Catherine Fox, age 96, formerly of Cannon Falls died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Regina Medical Center in Hastings. Jeanette was born March 18, 1916 in Douglas Township, Dakota County to Peter and Susan (Gergen) Schweich. She married Nicholas Henry �Nick� Fox on August 8, 1939 in New Trier and they farmed north of Cannon Falls from 1946 until their retirement in 1980. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Nick H; children Jim Fox and Angela Nappin; grandchildren Todd and Sharon Nappin and Gerald Greene; also 3 brothers and 2 sisters; son-in-law Richard Blaser. Survivors include her seven children Rolaine Blaser, Kenneth (Rosie) Fox, Mildred (Michael) Greene, Gervais (Sharon) Fox, Edna (David) LaPierre, Nick K. (Donna) Fox, Mary Jo (Robert) Nappin; also 26 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother Ralph Schweich; sister-in-law Dorothy Fox; daughter-in-law Judy Fox; also many relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Stan Mader will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 27 at St. Mary�s Catholic Church in New Trier, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Friday, October 26 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the service at church. Pallbearers are Don Blaser, Gary Fox, Adam Fox, Josh Fox, Rick Fox, Chad Nappin and Troy Greene; honorary pallbearers are Kathleen Stein, Liz Otto, Dorothy Schabert, Louise Kimmes and Alice Pasch.
