Jay Ronald Peterson

Jay Ronald Peterson, 80, of Lakeville, passed away Friday, December 7 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 27, 1932 in Minneapolis to Meyer and Ida (nee Olson) Peterson. Jay is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanne, sons Kenneth and Mark (Mary Ann), daughter Lynn (Kyle) Johnson, grandchildren Tanya, Amanda, Kathleen, Kelly, Courtney, Cassandra, and Nicholas, 5 great-grandchildren, and brother Norman (Esther) Peterson. Jay was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob. He served his country in the United States Naval Reserve. Jay loved golfing, boating, and snowmobiling. His great sense of humor will be forever missed. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday, December 12 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, with visitation 1 hour prior. Memorials are requested to the donor’s choice.
