Jay L. Davis

Jay L. Davis, age 66 of Cannon Falls died May 9, 2011 at home. Jay was born October 18, 1944 in LaCrosse, WI to Laverne and Fern (Mulock) Davis. He was a graduate of Hastings High School and pursued two years of college. Jay worked as a die cutter in the manufacturing field and was also a guitarist in the music industry. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jay is survived by his son Wes Davis and grandson Chase Davis, both of Stillwater; brothers Jeff (Linda) Davis of Bermuda Dunes, CA and Larry Davis of Phoenix, AZ; also step-father William Zuzek of Hastings. A graveside service with full military honors provided by the Fort Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad will be held at 10:45am Friday, May 20, 2011 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (Assembly Area #2). A celebration of Jay�s life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday May 21st at the Hastings American Legion Post 47.
