Janet I. Anderson Swanson

Janet I. Anderson (Swanson) age 76 of Mpls, passed away Friday, January 5, surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by brother, Donald. Janet owned her own hair salon, Diamond Lake Beauty, for 30 years. She ran the salon with her partner Blanche, who stayed a true friend till the end. Survived by husband of 51 years, Mike; daughter, Avrine; son, Matthew; granddaughter, Natalia; sister, Marilyn; brother, Douglas; many nieces, nephews and relatives. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, January 11, at Mt. Olivet Church, 5025 Knox Ave S, Mpls. Visitation one hour prior. Interment Vasa Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Mt. Olivet Care Center or Grace Hospice.
