Janet H. Wildasin

Janet Harriet Wildasin, age 93 of Hastings died April 23, 2013 at the Augustana Health Care Center. Janet was born February 12, 1920 in Cottage Grove, MN to George and Anna (Bucholz) Gramse. She was a graduate of Mechanical Arts High School in St. Paul and had worked as a key punch operator for an insurance company prior to her retirement. Janet is survived by her daughters Jeanne Nelson and Sherri (Bob) Balfanz; grandchildren Gary Hayes, Debra Carter, Tammy Cramer; great-grandchildren Rachel, Shannon, Chase, Allison, Kayla, Kyndall; sister Marjorie Schneeberg; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Deborah; grandson Todd Balfanz; both parents; brother George Gramse; sisters Evelyn White and Ethel Neuman. A Memorial Gathering for Janet will be held at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings from 5 � 7 PM Monday, May 6, 2013. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Augustana Health Care Center.
