Janell L. Stiel

Janell Stiel, age 61 of Hastings, went home to be with her Lord on May 1, 2021 at United Hospital. Janell Lynette was born November 4, 1959 in Rush City. She later attended Hastings High School and graduated with the class of 1978. Many of her friends and family would call her "Nellie." She worked several years with The Billy Graham Association when it was based in Minneapolis. That is where she met and married her friend, Tim Stiel. They married on September 10, 1994. The last several years Janell has worked with ALC School District 917 as an Administrative Assistant. Preceded in death by parents, Lewis and Lois (Sikkink) Jaquis. Survived by husband, Tim; sister, Marleen Jaquis. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street in Hastings. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. The Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings is in charge of the arrangements.
