Jane L. Starch, age 62, of Goodhue, formerly of Kenyon, passed away peacefully November 26, 2020 after her hard-fought battle with COPD. Jane grew up on her family farm outside Kenyon, MN and was one of 14 children. Family was very important to Jane, she spent lots of time laughing. She was adventurous, lived in Alaska, took road trips and enjoyed riding on the back of Bob's Harley. She was a strong, hardworking woman. She was most proud of her children. Jane enjoyed baking, canning vegetables, and making her mom's famous million dollar fudge. She loved playing cards, especially solitaire. Jane was a giving person and recently knitted over 300 hats for cancer patients and people in need. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Meyer; son, Jason Meyer, parents, Robert and Elaine Peterson; sister, Annette Engel; brothers in law, Michael Engel, David "Red" Meyer, Dean Burrow, and Bryce Starch. Jane is survived by her children, Shawn Meyer (Paula), Melissa (Adam) Greenslade, Dorthy (Marcus) Allen, and Anna Starch; grandchildren, Allison, Mason, Zoe, Kylie, Kara and Shauna; significant other, Bob Ryan; former spouse, Greg Starch; siblings, Steve "Pete" Peterson, Fred (Becky) Peterson, Larry "Rasty" (Bea) Peterson, Joyce "Rocky" (Vinny) Rauk, Cindy Meyer, Julie (Ray) Greseth, Eileen (Scott) Germundson, Mark Peterson, Scott (Jean) Peterson, Laura (Bryan) Haugen, John Peterson and Peggy Burrow (Brandon); and many, many, many other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St., Hastings. Interment will be at Gol Cemetery in Kenyon at 3:00 pm.
