Jane K. Carlson

Jane K. Carlson, age 61 of Hastings, died peacefully at home on Sunday morning, February 17, 2019, following a courageous battle with cancer. Jane, the daughter of John and Verna (Wohlers) Angerman, was born on March 2, 1957 in Fosston, Minnesota. Jane graduated from Hastings High School with the class of 1975, and was united in marriage to David "Shorty" Carlson on January 11, 1992 in Hastings. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her brother, Richard "Skip" Angerman. Jane is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Dave; children, Lucas (Kellie) Dahl, and Jennifer Quinn; grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, and Scarlett; siblings, Joan (Larry) Houseworth, John (Gloria) Angerman, Phyllis (Steve) Showers, Ken (Barb) Angerman, David (Nancy) Angerman, Joyce (Tony) Michalski, and Ray (Kris) Angerman; sister-in-law, Carol Angerman; the entire Dick and Irma Carlson family; and by many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Hastings, with Reverend Doug Duin officiating. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held at church. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly requested to Breath of Hope Foundation or to the donors choice in memory of Jane. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
