James Steven Sablak

James Steven Sablak, 88, of Rosemount, passed away Monday. He was born August 30, 1923 in South Saint Paul to Michael and Katherine (nee Galba) Sablak. James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Eleanor “Ellie”, sons Tony and Steven (Sherri), daughter Julie (Greg) Nelson, grandchildren Jason Nelson, Jenny and Sami Sablak, and twin brother John. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps. James’ sense of humor was infectious, and will be forever loved and treasured. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday at the Church of Saint Joseph, 13900 Biscayne Avenue, Rosemount, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment with honors will be 10 AM Friday in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
