James “Rudy” Olson

Age 60, of St. Paul, died peacefully on March 10, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice Center. Rudy was born in Alexandria, MN on May 13, 1951 to Lloyd and Lillian Olson. He is survived by two sisters, Mary (Steve) Roers and Carol (Dave) Funk; his brother, Tom (Kathy) Olson; a niece, Lisa (Doug) Southwick; two nephews, Nolan and Jared Funk; a great-niece, Ashley Winecke; and his extended family of friends. Rudy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 25 from 1-3 PM with a time for reflection to follow at 3 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave. in Apple Valley, MN.
