James Merritt, age 80, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at his home in Hastings. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 11-1PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel with a luncheon to follow at 1:00PM. Interment will be at a later date in St. John's WELS Cemetery in Red Wing, MN.
