age 47 of Minneapolis, born July 16, 1958 in Minneapolis, passed away June 10, 2006. Jim enjoyed the freedom of riding his bike, away from the distractions of the busy city life. He longed for the setting of God’s design. Jim liked to go hiking, fishing, playing his guitar and canoeing in the B.W.C.A. Jim is survived by parents, Stan & Carol; siblings: Mike (Bonnie) Tornes, Sue (Jim) Romain, Jack Tornes, and Larry (Andreya) Tornes; niece, Jennifer; nephews: Joe, Charlie, Sean, Kyle, Blake and Carter; and other family and friends. Funeral Service, 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church, 4101 37th Ave. So., Mpls. with lunch to follow. Visitation, 6 – 8 PM, Wednesday, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So, Mpls. and also one hour before the service at church. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers.
