Age 90, from Lake Crystal and Backus, MN. Passed away on May 22, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Sylvia Kelley; and great-grandson, Jonathan. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Esther; daughter, Shirley (Art) Wells; Grandchildren, Kelley (fianc? Tony Ackerman) Knake, Jennifer (Declan) Duddy and Carrie (Mark) Gamm; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Harvey (Marion) Kelley; and sister, Mary Kelley. Funeral at 11:00 AM on Wed., May 25, 2016 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd, Apple Valley, MN 55124, with visitation one hour prior to service.
