James Foster

James 'Jim' Patrick Foster of Hastings, MN died on Monday, December 12, 2011. He was 42 years old. James was born to James M. Foster and Patricia Cook Foster in River Falls, WI on December 22, 1968. He graduated from River Falls HS in 1987, and recently received a business degree from the University of Phoenix. He loved to hunt and fish, especially with his kids, and was a proud dad at many hockey, baseball, and football games. He was employed by Century Link (Qwest Communications), and was the recipient of several regional and national sales awards. James is survived by his wife, Karin Hallstrom-Foster, and 3 children, Noah 12, Dylan 8, and Nichole 6. He is also survived by his father Jim (Lana) Foster of River Falls, WI; his mother Patricia Foster of South St. Paul, MN; sisters, Jacky (Shannon) Nelson of Hastings, MN; Jenni Foster of River Falls, WI; grandfather and grandmother, James D. and Merce Foster of River Falls, WI; aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews.Funeral Services, officiated by Fr. Jim Perkl, will be held Friday, December 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St. in Hastings in Hastings. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church.
