James E., age 85 of Minneapolis, born Nov. 8, 1919 in Albert Lea, passed away July 11, 2005. James was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a pilot of a B-17 and was a P.O.W. for 21 months. He is preceded in death by brother, Jerry, and sisters, Mary Ellen and Patricia. James is survived by his wife, Florence of 56 years; children: Kathleen Sullivan, Mary Sullivan (Tom Moline), Paul Sullivan, Rita Sullivan, Bridget Malpede (John) Joseph Sullivan (Therese); 6 grandchildren; brother, Dan; sisters, Tess and Leontine and other family and friends. Graveside service, 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation, 5 – 8 PM, Tuesday with Prayer Service at 7 PM at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls.
