James B. Bauer

James Bernard Bauer, age 66, of Elysian, MN formerly of Hastings died peacefully at his home on February 25, 2010. Jim was born February 23, 1944 in Hastings to Henry and Juanita (Mamer) Bauer. He was a graduate of Hastings High School - class of 1962 and had served in the Air Force.He was preceded in death by his father Henry Bauer and step-father Herbert Bauer. James is survived by his daughter Brenda (Chad) Kieffer of Hastings; mother Juanita Bauer of Hastings; sister Mary (Bob) Weiers of Hastings, sister Carol (Jim) Gores of Hampton, brother Marvin (Shirley) Bauer of Hastings, andsister Laura Bauer of Hastings; step-children Jacqueline (Terry) Crisp, Charles (Rachelle) Kimmes, and Russell Kimmes, all of Hastings; also grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends from Elysian, MN.The Memorial Service, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 7pm Thursday, March 4, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings with visitation from 4-7pm at the church (in Mother Seton Hall).
