James A. (Jim) Nachtman

James A. (Jim) Nachtman, 65 of Apple Valley, passed away at home Tuesday surrounded by his loving family. Jim is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Hill), mother Helen (nee Koch), daughters Anne (Pastor Kevin) Vogt and Sara (Chris) Winkler, grandchildren Samantha, Alexandra, Logan, Adam, Brockton, Peyton, Grace, and Kendall, sister Marge (Dennis) Van Drunen, and brother Dale Nachtman.

Jim loved Minnesota sports, and was a passionate Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, and Gopher fan. He was a computer Analyst for the University of Minnesota Hospital IT Department and other concerns, was a website designer for WSI Website, and Entrepreneur, owning MNI. He also was a greeter and caretaker for the Fort Snelling Chapel. Jim also lived out his passionate love for his family, especially his grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Saturday, November 6 at Lighthouse Christian Church, 3285 144th Street West, Rosemount. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday, November 5 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331 and from 10 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested.
