Weathers, Jacqueline S. age 67 of Hastings passed away suddenly February 28, 2009. Dear Mom, We feel your love inside us; the unconditional, unstoppable love that fought for and comforted each and every one of us. Our greatest cheerleader, our biggest fan, your heart and humor healed us, nurtured us, and taught us how to be and who to be. Angels don't always have wings, sometimes they're just called mom. Jacqueline was preceded in death by father, Leonard Stanek and son in law, Daniel Hanus. She is survived by loving husband of 49 years, Wayne Weathers; son, Troy and wife, Cindy; son, Tracey and wife, Jean; daughter Wendy and fianc, Bill Harris; grandchildren, Logan Hanus; Katie and Madeline Weathers €“ the three loves of her life; mother, Lillian Stanek; brother, Leonard 'Butch' Stanek and wife Karen; nephews, Jedd and Jimmy; niece Jenny; and many, many friends. Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Daniel Dahlberg, Thursday (3/5) 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation, Wed. (3/4) from 4:30 €“ 8:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St. Hastings and 1 hour prior to mass at church on Thursday. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Minnetonka.
