Jacob "Jake" Majeski

Jacob "Jake" Majeski, age 39 of Prescott, Wisconsin, died peacefully at home on Friday, April 16, 2021. Jake was surrounded in comfort with his loving family at his side following a four-year battle with Colon Cancer. Jacob Adam, the son of Jeffrey and Georgi (Fassbender) Majeski, was born on April 22, 1981, in Durango, Colorado. Jake enjoyed spending time with his dad and brother biking and camping, as well as traveling as a family. In his younger years, Jake's family moved from Durango to Utah where he attended school prior to moving to Hastings in 1994 where he attended Hastings High School and graduated with the class of 1999. On July 10, 2010, he was united in marriage to Star Santo in Hastings, and they created many memories over their ten years of marriage. Jake was an avid reader and an excellent video gamer. He also enjoyed collecting just about everything, but took great pride in his collection of River Town Days buttons from over the years. He will forever be remembered for his caring and compassionate spirit and heart of gold. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lee Fassbender; and by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Jean Majeski. Jake is survived by his wife, Star; step son, Lamont; parents, Jeff and Georgi; brother, Jonathan Majeski; maternal grandmother, LaVonne Fassbender; his mother and father-in-law, Joe and Joyce Santo as well as the entire Santo Family; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Jake's Life will be held from 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, with Paris Pasch officiating. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
