Jack B. Goff Jr.

Jack B. Goff Jr., age 53, of Hastings died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at his home and was greeted in his Saviour's arms with love. He now lives with his "daddy" and his heavenly Father. Throughout his life his faith gave him his strength. Jack was born in Venice, Florida on August 8, 1955 to Jack and Virginia (Boone) Goff. He was a Social Worker for Carver County. Jack married Tammy Halverson on August 10, 2001 in Hastings. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and father, Jack. Jack is survived by his wife, Tammy of Hastings; sons, Chris Goff of Indianapolis, Jonathon Goff, and Justin Goff, both of Kentucky; granddaughter, Tiffany, and her mother, Megan of Burnsville; mother, Virginia "Betty" Goff of Mississippi; brothers, Gary Goff, Carl (Rebecca) Goff, and Steven Goff, all of Florida, Philip (Kate McGinn) Goff of Indiana, and Joe (Melissa) Goff of Mississippi; also many other relatives and friends. The Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Randy Berg , will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Calvary Christian Church, 907 Fifteenth Street West in Hastings. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings, and also one hour prior to the Wednesday service at the church.
