Irma H. Taube

Irma H. Taube, age 87 of Hastings died December 22, 2010, of cancer, at Regina Nursing Home. Irma was born in Afton on October 12, 1923 to Peter and Eliza (Vollmer) Riemenschneider. She married Sylvester Taube on July 6, 1951, and was employed at Smeads for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband. Irma is survived by her children Judy Lentz of Sarasota, FL, Susie Riley of Prescott, Sally Voss of Wayzata and Kevin of Hastings; 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. James Perkl and Rev. Martin Siebenaler will be held at 9:30AM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. Fifteenth St., Hastings, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers are Troy Taube, Brian May, Carey Masera, Seazon Voss, Casey Luedtke, and Neil Lentz.Honorary pallbearers are Jeanne McGree, Dorothy Loesch, Dubie Swanson, Sr. Bernelle Taube, Alice Caneff and Emma Siebenaler.Interment at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery will be held at a later date.
