Irene R. Johnson, age 80 of Wadena, formerly of Burnsville/Rosemount, MN, born Dec. 20, 1927, passed away April 11, 2008. Preceded in death by husband, Roy; brothers, Leslie and Leroy “Hotchie” Kolstad and parents, Thorvald and Carrie Kolstad. Survived by children, Sally Sandberg and Larry (Mary) Johnson; step-daughter, Sharon (Leon) Huckleberry; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Tegner (Ruby), Gordon (Judy), and Russell (Carol) Kolstad; nieces; nephews; family and friends. Memorial service, 10:00 AM, Friday, April 18, 2008 with visitation one half hour before at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis. Inurnment, Lakewood.
Burial Date April 18, 2008
Visitation will be 1/2 hour before the service.
