Irene F Harris

Irene Florence Harris (Durand), 87, of Hastings, passed peacefully July 26, 2017. Mrs. Harris was born November 19, 1929 in Spooner, Wisconsin to Napoleon and Louise (Tetrault) Durand. Upon graduating from Spooner High School, Irene Durand, married Warren N. Harris on December 19, 1946. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her loving family. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Warren (Red) Harris and her son, Warren Joseph Harris. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Napoleon and Louise (Tetrault) Durand; six sisters and two brothers; grandson, Baby Jassen; granddaughters, Baby Carrie and Great Grandson Baby Jack. Mrs. Harris is survived by five sons, Donald W. (Margie) Harris of Seattle, WA; Joseph A. (Pam) Harris of Hastings; Timothy G. Harris of St. Paul; Paul G. (Trina) Harris of Hastings; Ryan W. (Kelly) Harris of Hastings; and four daughters, Linda L. (Charles) Robinson of Hastings; Connie A. (Russell) Swanson of Farmington; Nancy O. (Scott) Robertson of Scottsdale, AZ; Sandra A. (Tom) Sieh of Scottsdale, AZ; 24 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren; 8 Great-Great Grandchildren and one sister, Elsie Stellrecht. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 1 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings. A visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at church prior to mass. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery.
