Henry Timothy Tessier

Henry T. Tessier, age 90, of Hastings died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Augustana Care Center in Hastings. Henry was born October 27, 1923 in Duluth, MN to Esdros and Victoria (Gagnon) Tessier. He married Anna L. Huberty February 18, 1950 in Duluth. He was a veteran of the United States Army as well as the Hastings VFW and American Legion Posts. He was a 27 year employee at the Hastings Creamery. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, a son Hank and 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Anna "Missy" Tessier, children Mark (Mary), Wendy (Terry) Chandler, Joyce (Kim) Kochendorfer, Tim Tessier all of Hastings, Paula Tessier (fianc Joe Honsey) of Chatfield, MN, James Tessier of Welch, MN and Mary Dawn (Mark) Phillips of Hastings; 17 grandchildren , 17 great grandchildren, a sister Lorraine DeRoche of Duluth and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass officiated by Father David Hennen, will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, October 23, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church; 2035 Fifteenth St. West, Hastings. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral at church. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date.
