Heather L. Ohmen-Allen

Heather L. Ohmen-Allen, age 27, of Hastings died Monday, August 24, 2015 at her home with family by her side following an extended illness.Heather Lynn was born September 2, 1987 in Madison, WI to Suzanne (Ohmen) Howell. She loved animals, especially her furry friend, Sugar. Heather also enjoyed listening to all types of music especially country, riding horses, gaming and spending time with her family. On August 1, 2015, Heather was united in marriage to the love of her life, LeRoy E. Allen II. She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Anya Lynn Ohmen-Allen on November 5, 2011. Heather is survived by her husband LeRoy E. Allen II of Hastings; her niece, Emma Buck of Spring Valley, WI; her mother, Suzanne Howell of Madison, WI; her brothers, Brian, Mike and Damian; her father and mother-in-law, Roy (Char) Allen of Hastings; brother and sister-in-law, Jacob of West St. Paul and Sarah (Mathew) Buck of Spring Valley, WI; her two nephews, Eli and Kaiden; and by other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings, MN. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service on Monday.
