Harry W Smith

Harry W. Smith, age 86 of Rosemount, born May 18, 1923 in Codogan, PA to Samuel and Sadie Smith, passed away July 15, 2009. Harry served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve. He retired from Brockway Glass after 41 years of service. After which, he enjoyed working in his garage with his wood crafts that he gave to churches and his family and friends. Harry is survived by his wife, Genevieve, who he married on May 17, 1952; children: Lee Ann (Gary) Smith, Delores (Brian) Smith, Dennis (Barb) Smith, Patty Smith and Mary Kay (Doug) Haas; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Monday, July 20, 2009 with visitation one hour before at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave., Rosemount. Interment, St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
