Harry R. Swanson

Swanson, Harry R. Age 90, of Bloomington, born June 15, 1918 on a farm near Carver, MN, passed away March 16, 2009. Harry was retired from George C. Brandt, Inc. as an accountant. He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Evelyn, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 4, 2009 with visitation one hour before, at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, 5760 Portland Ave. So., Mpls. There will be a meal and fellowship following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Diamond Lake Lutheran Church Endowment Fund. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
