Harriett T. Richardson

Harriet T. Richardson, age 75 of Hampton, died Wednesday evening, March 21, 2018 at Regina Senior Living Transitional Care. Harriet was born May 30, 1942 in St. Charles, IL to Alvin Leonard and Alice Winifred (Thorp) Nelson. She loved nature, especially bird watching and enjoyed drawing, writing and reading poetry. She was interested in science, particularly with the stars. She enjoyed a simple life and was a wonderful mom. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roland Mark Richardson. Harriet is survived by her son, Clark Steven Bledsoe of Hampton, daughters, Kristin A. Jensen (Todd) of Wheeler, WI and Katy R. Hauer (Dustin) of Minneapolis; four grandchildren, Carly Sue Bledsoe, Casey Jo Bledsoe, Jacob Jensen and Thomas Jensen. Graveside services at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis will be announced later. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
