Harriet M. Shanahan, age 89 of Minneapolis, born September 8, 1918 in Minneapolis, passed away September 23, 2007. Harriet is preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose. She is survived by daughter, Colleen (Robert) Tachovsky; son, Dennis (Sharon) Shanahan; grandchildren: Brian (Sherry), Patrick, and Joseph (Kathrin) Shanahan, Debbie, Rob and Al (Sandy) Tachovsky; and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. With visitation one hour before. Interment, Ft Snelling National Cemetery. Her spirit will watch over us and guide us forever.
