Hank Schlomka

Our beloved Dad, Grandpa Eugene “Hank” Schlomka passed peacefully at home, in Hampton, MN surrounded by family at age 85.

A true icon, Hank—the classic car enthusiast—was a rare vintage model himself: cherished, gaining value with age, and always on the move! He could outwork anyone, outlast everyone, and still make time to celebrate life at every turn.

We find comfort knowing he’s eternally reunited with Grandma (Carol) his beloved wife of 65 years, they are likely throwing a party, making sure everyone has a good time—and of course, storing all those memories.

We are forever grateful for his wisdom, laughter, and shared stories. His spirit will live on in every engine rev and every smile we pass along in his honor.

Preceded in death by Henry Carl Schlomka (Dad), Villa Marie (Polski) Schlomka (Mom), Carol Margaret (Grosskreutz) Schlomka (Wife), and Charles Henry Schlomka (Son), survived by children Cindy Schlomka - Knuaff, Don (Sue) Schlomka, Billy (Lorri Vance) Schlomka, 6 grandkids and 18 great grandkids.

We love you. Hank—keep the engines roaring up there. Give Grandma an eight-second hug for all of us!

A celebration of life will be held at the Wexford at Emerald Greens on April 27, 2025 11:00am - 3:00pm 14425 Goodwin Ave Hastings, MN 55033
