Gwendolyn J. Stark, age 57, of Hastings died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at United Hospital in St. Paul after a brief illness. Gwen was born July 3, 1956 in Hastings to George E. and Lillian N. (Forest) Stark. She was a graduate of Hastings High School in 1974. She was formerly an employee at Smead Manufacturing in Hastings.Gwen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters Sally (Mike) Butcher of Nampa, ID and Karen (Martin) Corona of Seattle, WA, and a brother Gregory (Vicki) Stark of Conde, SD, also by several nieces nephews.The Funeral Mass with Father Cole Kracke presiding, will be Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth Street West, Hastings. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to that service at church. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
