Grant M. Walker

Grant M. Walker, age 30 of Hastings, died Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Regina Senior Living. Grant Walker was born on June 30, 1986, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from Hastings High School. Grant had a contagious smile and laugh that touched and inspired many others, even without saying a word. Grant loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed looking through magazines, playing his music box and car rides. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret E. Walker. Grant is survived by his mother, Linda (Paul) Pepin of Florida; step-father, Michael OMelia of Hastings; sister, Ashlee (Josh) Nicolai of Hampton and niece, Ava Nicolai. Memorials are requested to the Grant Walker Fund, available at any of the Vermillion Bank locations. Private serviceswill be held at a later date.
