Grace G. Meier

Grace G. Meier, age 90, of Hastings, passed away February 3, 2022 at Regina Hospital in Hastings. She was born in Claremont, MN to August and Ada Batzel on December 9, 1931. She married Pete Meier in Hastings on August 5, 1978. Grace was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings. She is survived by her husband, Pete Meier; children, Jane (Kerry) Newman, Susan (Timothy) Carter, James (Patricia) Morrison and Paula Morrison; grandchildren and great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W. in Hastings. A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St in Hastings and from 9:30 - 10:30 AM on Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery immediatley following mass on Tuesday.
