Bergum, Grace E. “Our Little BooBoo” Age 17, of Lakeville, died May 26, 2006 in a car accident that also claimed the life of her father, James. Grace was born in Farmington, MN. Preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald James Bergum and great- grandparents including her namesake, great-grandma, Grace McGurran. Survived by loving mother, Geralynn; sister, Katie; brother, Jacob; grandparents, Marjorie Bergum, Jim & Theresa Briske; and many loving relatives and friends. Grace was a junior at Lakeville North High School where she distinguished herself as an honor student in the top 3% of her class. Grace had a zeal for life and an insatiable love for learning. She loved history and travel. She also was a uniquely gifted writer and excelled in Art. Grace was also a capable musician, a member of the Lakeville Marching Band and a church pianist. She loved skating, snowboarding and exploring nature. Grace possessed a sweet and gracious spirit, a warm smile and was a loyal friend. Her hope in life and death was in the saving grace of Jesus Christ whom she served with joy in the Ministry of Eden Baptist Church of Savage. Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday, June 3rd at Berean Baptist Church, 309 E. Co. Rd 42, Burnsville. Visitation Friday 5-8 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley. Interment later this summer in North Dakota. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
