Gordon G Gartland

Gordon G. Gartland, age 80 of Minneapolis, born October 12, 1928 in Minneapolis to George and Minnie Gartland, died June 23, 2009. Gordy served in the U.S. Army during WWII and in the U.S. Air Force Reserve during Korea. He is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Hopkins. Gordy is survived by wife, Sylvia; children: Linda (Patrick) Krolick, Marsha (Anthony) Parker and Michael (Laura) Gartland; grandchildren: P.J., and Bryan Krolick, Elizabeth, Susan and Nancy Parker, Jason, Kelly (Matt) Fitzwater and Katie Gartland; brother, Irvin and many other family and friends. Memorial service is 11:00 am, Friday, June 26, 2009 with visitation one hour before at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3430 East 51st St., Mpls. Private interment Fort Snelling. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers.
