Gloria H. Stoneberg

Gloria H. Stoneberg, age 93 of Hastings, died peacefully on Friday evening, February 2, 2018, at Regina Senior Living in Hastings. Called "Mom," "Nana," "Grandma" and "Gloria" by those who loved her, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in law: Craig and Annie, Mark and Pat, and Brad and Anne; eight grandchildren and their spouses: Jessie (Jon Gross), Ian (Chelsea), Eric (Rachel), Brian (Heather), Allie, Lauren, Brette, and Aaron (Maja); and five great grandchildren: Noah, Alex, and Cavan (children of Ian and Chelsea) and Lucy and Olivia (Eric and Rachel).Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Harry Stoneberg. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 8, 1924, Gloria graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 1942. She and Bob married on October 26, 1946, and they settled in Hastings, Minnesota in 1952. Active in her community, Gloria was a lifetime member of SEAS, took part in card clubs, worked as an election judge for more than three decades, and helped administer the Hastings school census. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, with interment following at the parish cemetery.
