Glenn A. Erickson

Glenn A. Erickson, age 83, of Hastings died May 5, 2011 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Glenn was born March 14, 1928 in St. Paul to Arthur and Hulda (Boberg) Erickson. He married Shirley Hendel in Red Wing on August 29, 1959 and was employed as the Supervisor of Code Enforcement for the City of St. Paul for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He was preceded by his parents, and grandson Eric. Glenn is survived by his wife Shirley; sons Tom (Barb) of South St. Paul and John (Ann) of Maplewood; grandchildren Tom Jr., Chris, Bob, Julia, and Caroline; brother Jim. The visitation for Glenn will be held from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday, May 11 at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the Service at church on Thursday. The Memorial Service is Thursday at 11AM at OUR SAVIOUR�S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 400 West Ninth St., Hastings. Memorials are preferred to CaringBridge, Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church, or Hastings Family Service.
