Glen D. Snyder

Glen D. Snyder, age 77, of Hastings died Friday, January 4, 2013 at his home following a lengthy illness. Glen was born January 21, 1935 in Hastings to Nicholas and Hazel (Foster) Snyder. He worked for over 50 years at H.D. Hudson Manufacturing in Hastings, retiring in 2000. He married Monica Reinardy January 13, 1962 at St. Boniface Church in Hastings. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Leonard, Robert, Harry and Nick. He is survived by his wife Monica (Reinardy) Snyder of Hastings, five sons Dale Snyder of Ellsworth, WI, Kevin Snyder of Hastings, Ronald Snyder of Eagan, Rick Snyder of Hastings and Bryan Snyder of Hager City, WI; eight grandchildren Kate, Jason, Chelsea, Bobby, Matthew, Michael, Cory and Jackson; sisters Margaret Wilkerson of Missouri, Marie Krech of St. Paul Park and LaVonne (Gene) Chandler of Hastings. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl was held January 8, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were David Krech, Jeff Chandler, Matt Snyder, David Huberty, Jason Snyder, Cory Most and Joe Kimmes.
