Gladys L. Matteson

Gladys Matteson, age 85 of Hastings, formerly of Red Wing, passed away February 13, 2008 at Regina Nursing Home in Hastings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; sons, Charles, Jr. and James; parents, Gilbert and Ruth Goesen; sister, Mabel (Fred) Sumner. She is survived by children, Jacqueline Schwieger of Hastings, Jennifer (Ron) Gerken of Red Wing, John (Jill) Matteson of Tempe, AZ; grandchildren, Tracy (Dan) Hausman, Bridgit (Todd) Oakes, Ben (Sarah) Schwieger, Ashley (Jordan) Johnson, Patrick (Leigh) Fitschen, Trevor (Rebecca) Fitschen, Captain Justin (Susan) Gerken, Jessica Matteson; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Olive (Gordy) Johnson of Minneapolis. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings, MN. Gathering 1 hour prior to service at church.
