Bitz, Lt. Col. USAF Gerald F., age 87, of Winter Haven, FL, formerly of Mpls., MN, died Dec. 5, 2010 in Winter Haven, FL. Survived by wife, Frances; daughter, Jeannine (Jim) Sacco; grandchildren, Lisa (Farzad) Mohebati and Marc (Ruth) Sacco; great-grandson, Liam Mohebati; and other nieces, nephews, family & friends. Visitation 2-4 PM Sunday, Dec. 12 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls., and one hour before Mass at the church. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, Dec. 13, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2424 18th Ave. So., Mpls. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery
