Gerald E. Anderson

Gerald E. Anderson, age 75 formerly of Hastings died April 24, 2011 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Gerald was born November 16, 1935 in Prairie Farm, WI to Christ and Mary (Egan) Anderson. He married Ruby Evans on June 5, 1954 at Our Saviour�s Lutheran Church in Hastings and was employed by American Hoist Derrick prior to retirement. Gerald was an avid hunter, fisherman, sports fan � especially the Twins, and was a former softball player. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ruby; sons Randy, Larry, and Terry; daughter Dawn; and sister Donna. Gerald is survived by his children Jay Anderson (Nancy Chandler) of Hastings, Billy Anderson (Kari Heise) of Forest, WI,Tammy Domek (Bob Resendez) and Kelly (Shelly) Anderson all of Hastings; grandchildren Christopher and Jason Anderson, Alicia Heise, Austin Anderson, Joshua Domek, and Ashley Dellwo; great-grandchildren Lillianna Lyons and Ethan Dellwo; sister Patricia Hanson of Milwaukee, WI. A Memorial Service, officiated by Rev.Kelli Garretsonwill beheld at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth Street inHastings, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
