Georgette C. Jacques

Georgette "Georgie" Jacques, age 58 of Maplewood and formerly of Prescott, Wisconsin, died suddenly on Friday morning, September 13, 2019. Georgette, the daughter of George and Helen (Furber) Jacques, was born on October 17, 1960, in St. Paul. Following her graduation from Prescott High School with the class of 1979, Georgie continued her education at UW Madison. She first moved to Arizona where she and her sister owned Beach Club West. She then moved to Denver for a short time, and eventually moved back to Minnesota where she worked most recently with Wells Fargo as a Senior National Business Banker. Georgie loved downhill skiing, boating and water skiing with friends, antiquing, and traveling to Mexico and Arizona. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining with family and friends. Georgette was a longtime AA Member. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen; sister, Ann Filarsky; and by her former husband, David Goldblum. Georgette is survived by her sisters, Jean Jacques, Miki (Paul) Peine, Jaci (Jorv) Gavic, Julie (Neal Wallace) Jacques, and Cydney (Tom Reis) Jacques; and by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019, with a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Prescott, Wisconsin. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
