Genevieve Matilda Haller

Genevieve Matilda Haller, 94, of Minneapolis, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was born September 16, 1919 in Fort Rice, North Dakota to John and Angeline (nee Leingang) Eckroth. Survivors include her daughters Judith (Peter) Sheppard, Deborah (Patrick) Byrne, and Susan (Michael) Koch, son Robert (Cindy) Haller, grandchildren Nicole Henderson, Donald (Denise) Patterson, Ryan Henderson, Jeremy Johnson, Jenny (Donnie) Altenburg, Danielle Haller, and Julianna (Scott) Campbell, great-grandchildren Aidan and Brody Patterson, and Nash and Avealean Altenburg, sisters Viola (Robert) Klesalek, Rosella Kuhn, and Lorraine (Gene) Hatzenbeler, brothers Albert (Alice), Raymond (Priscilla), and Donald (Delanis) Eckroth, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Eckroth. Genevieve was preceded in death by several family members, including her husband Robert in 2005. She will be forever loved and treasured. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, July 19 at the Church of St. Albert the Great, 2836 33rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will be 10:30 AM, Monday, July 21, 2014 in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials are preferred.
