Bischoff, Gary J. Age 63, of S. Mpls. Born 3/3/43 in Courtenay, ND and passed away at home 10/8/06. Gary was retired from Twin City Tile & Marble. He was a talented woodworker, loved golf, astronomy and his family. Preceded in death by parents, Myrtle Berg and Jack Bischoff; stepfather, Art Berg; sister, Joan Leopoldt; brother, Mike Berg; and nephew, Josh Bischoff. Gary is survived by devoted wife, Rebecca; daughter, Marsha (Jerry) Appelquist; son, Monty Bischoff; stepdaughter, Carrie (Chris) Beaner; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sarah and Charlie Beaner, Taylor, Mark, Jeff and Craig Appelquist; brothers, Doug (Lottie) Bischoff, Rod (Carol) Bischoff, Mark (Debbie) Bischoff; sisters, Marilyn Pierson, Claudia (Rick) Gordon; brother-in-law, Jack Myhervold; nieces, nephews, cousins and Holy Cross family. Gary was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandpa. His love, kindness, sense of humor and generosity of spirit will be deeply missed and live on in our hearts forever. Service Friday, Oct. 13, 2:00 PM, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1720 E. Minnehaha Pkwy, Mpls., with visitation one hour prior. Interment Lakewood. Memorials are preferred to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
