He was a member of Company C 426th Infantry National Guard in Antigo. Gary was a retired union boilermaker and plumber. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and humorist. A memorial service and visitation was held on Wednesday, November 4 at the Wise Funeral Home in Hastings, Minnesota with Pastor Paris Pasch officiating. A celebration of life will be held at St. Peter's Church in Polar, Wisconsin in the spring of 2010.
