Gary Michael Bainbridge, age 75, of Dubuque, Iowa, peacefully passed away on June 14th, 2026, in Hastings Minnesota. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Peggy, children, and grandchildren.
Gary was born in Dubuque, Iowa on May 31st, 1951. He was the youngest of nine children. He graduated from Senior High in Dubuque in 1969. He met his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy Bainbridge. They married and lived in East Dubuque. Gary worked as a welder for John Deere for 31 years. They were blessed with three children. Gary enjoyed several hobbies, such as rebuilding cars, camping, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and loved to spending time with his family.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Modesta Bainbridge; siblings, Lyle (Jan), Wayne (Barb), David, Robert (Sharon), Marsha (John), Marilyn (George), and Darlene.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Peggy; children, Cassie (Marcus), Jason (Wendy), and Travis (Kristen); grandchildren, Anthony, Darrianna, Jack, Elizabeth, William, Emma, and Henry; great-grandchildren, Kamasi, Kamauri; sibling, Sandra; In-laws, Sandra and Rick, Ken and Leigh.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27th, from 2pm to 5pm at Eagle Point Park Pavilion. 2601 Shiras Ave, Dubuque, IA 52001.
Memorials preferred to the family of Gary Bainbridge.
