Frederick E. Mensing

Frederick E. Mensing, age 90 of Minneapolis, born August 30, 1916 in Jordan, MN, to William & Flora Mensing, passed away October 24, 2006. He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He is also retired after 30 years, from Ford Motor Co. (St. Paul). Frederick is preceded in death by wife, Alice. Survived by daughter, Kay; sisters-in-law: Louise Mensing, Eleanor Mensing and Valborg Strand; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Mr. Knut. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 27, 2006 at Central Lutheran Church, 333 S. 12th St., Minneapolis. Visitation, 5-7 p.m., Thursday, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls, and also one half hour before the service at church. Interment Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or the Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Lane N. Golden Valley.
