August 21, 1948 — June 16, 2005

Frankie L. Hosking. Loving wife, mother and grandmother sadly passed away on June 16, 2005, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Minneapolis on August 21, 1948, she was raised in Coon Rapids where she graduated in 1966. She fell in love and married on December 16, 1967. After living briefly in New York and Wisconsin, she and her husband returned to Minnesota and raised their two children. She retired in 2003 after 27 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She is survived by husband, Bob Hosking; children, Rob Hosking and Tracy (David) Doughty; sisters, Sandy Lyke and Ruby Peter; brother, Pete (Bev) Thelen; sister-in-law, Peggy Thelen; mother-in-law, Helen Hosking; 15 nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Leora Harmsen; brother, Jerry Thelen; brother-in-law, Gene Peter; and father-in-law, Milton Hosking. She will now serve as the guardian angel for the joy of her life, her granddaughter, Alexandra “Peanut”. Service Tues 11:00 am, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary Apple Valley Chapel, 147th & Garrett Avenue.
