Frances Marie Jauquet

Frances Marie Jauquet, age 60, of Hastings, passed away April 11, 2018. Frances was born in Ashland, Wisconsin on Feb. 10, 1958, to Joseph and Elizabeth 'Betty' Jauquet. Fran was in the amazing business. Amazing wife, amazing mother, amazing daughter, amazing sister, amazing friend and amazing colleague. She so deeply touched many lives by her constant pursuit of knowledge, art, and personal growth. She graduated from Ashland High School in Ashland, WI. She received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and Juris Doctor Degree from Hamline Law School St. Paul, MN. For the past 20 years, Fran was employed as an Employment Law Consultant. Fran was an active member of the art community in Hastings where her amazing talents were shared with many people. Be it painting, drawing or textiles. She was a founding member of the Hastings Prescott Area Arts Council. While Fran had many amazing talents her greatest gift to give was her friendship and love. To those of us who received it, we miss it already. Frances leaves her husband, Patrick Albani; sons, Gordon Mann (Sarah Kessler) and Joseph Mann; grandson, Kessler Mann; stepson, Aaron (Julia) Albani; mother, Elizabeth Jauquet; sisters, Ann Jauquet (Bruce Hendrickson), Mary (Terry) Royer, Jane Jauquet (Dan McGlynn), and Pauline Jauquet; brothers, Joseph Jauquet Jr., Thomas Jauquet (Pam Barrett), and William(Gloria) Jauquet. She is preceded in her death by her father, Joseph Jauquet M.D.; and brother, Peter Jauquet (Sarah McNamara). A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday (4/16) at First Presbyterian Church, 602 Vermillion St. in Hastings.
